Toy Distributions 2023–2024: Sharing Joy Across Our Communities

Over the past two years, Eyes of a Child has continued its mission to bring smiles to children through a series of Toy Distribution Events made possible by the generous support of NBC Universal Studios and our incredible volunteers.

2023 Toy Distributions

In October 2023, we hosted four unforgettable toy giveaways across Los Angeles:

• October 15 – La Sabrosa Restaurant, Sylmar: Our first event kicked off with warmth and excitement as volunteers helped distribute toys to local families, filling the space with laughter and gratitude.

• October 17 – Child and Family Guidance Center, Northridge: During the Flu Shot Fair at 19100 Parthenia St, our volunteers shared toys and joy with dozens of families.

• October 21 – PIBBLA Church, Downtown LA: Partnering with the First Brazilian Baptist Church of Los Angeles, our team brightened the day for many children through generous toy donations.

• October 28 – Child and Family Guidance Center, Northridge: We closed the month with a Halloween Fest at 9650 Zelzah Ave, where every toy found a new home and countless smiles were shared.

2024 Toy Distributions

The spirit of giving continued into 2024, with two joyful community events:

• June 23 – La Sabrosa Restaurant, Sylmar: Thanks to NBC Universal Studios and La Sabrosa Restaurant, we hosted a beautiful free toy distribution, sharing happiness with children and families from the community.

• October 26 – Child and Family Guidance Center, Northridge: Our annual Halloween Fest returned to 9650 Zelzah Ave, where families gathered for a fun-filled day of celebration, community, and giving.

Thanks to the continued partnership with NBC Universal Studios, local venues, and our volunteers, hundreds of toys have been distributed, proving once again that together, we can turn generosity into joy. 🌟
